Who we help
Partnership accounts and tax returns.
A partnership needs a joined-up approach to its accounts and each partner's tax return. Your dedicated account manager brings the figures together, so everyone knows what needs filing and when.

Who this is for.
This is for business partnerships whose profits are reported through Self Assessment. We help the partnership and its partners keep records and returns aligned.

What happens, and when.
Through the year
Receipts go into Dext and bookkeeping is done annually or quarterly.
After 5 April
We prepare the partnership's accounts and work out each partner's share of the profit.
Before it's filed
Senior review, then the partnership return and each partner's return are e-signed in the portal.
31 January
Partnership and personal returns filed, with a payment schedule for every partner.
One team, one set of numbers. No chasing figures between the partnership and each partner.
What you need to know.
One partnership return, individual partner returns
The partnership return reports the business results and how they are allocated. Each partner also reports their share on their own tax return, alongside any other income. Preparing them together helps keep the figures consistent.
The nominated partner
The nominated partner is responsible for managing the partnership's tax return and keeping the business records. Each partner remains responsible for their own return and tax. We can prepare the returns and help everyone understand their responsibilities.
Sharing the profits
The allocation of profits follows the partnership agreement and the applicable tax rules. Tell us about changes to partners or profit-sharing arrangements so the accounts and returns reflect what has been agreed.
Filing deadlines
For the usual tax year ending on 5 April, paper returns are normally due by 31 October and online returns by 31 January following that tax year. HMRC may set a different deadline in some circumstances. We coordinate the partnership and personal returns so each filing is planned.
